Beds for Buffalo
Beds for Buffalo engages corporate teams, community volunteers and TSC participants to build and distribute completed twin sized beds and bedding to children in need. The project launched in 2018 and has since provided thousands of beds across WNY. Beds for Buffalo is led by The Service Collaborative’s youth development program, YouthBuild Buffalo.
At Beds for Buffalo you might:
- Learn how to safely use woodworking tools and equipment
- Sand and stain bed boards and posts
- Prepare and assemble hand-crafted, wooden bed
